Stephen Twigg for West Derby

I have been selected by local Labour Party members to stand to become the next Member of Parliament for West Derby. It is a great honour to have this opportunity and I am spending my time meeting local residents, visiting community organisations and taking up local issues.

From the next General Election West Derby will consist of Croxteth, Knotty Ash, Norris Green, Tuebrook & Stoneycroft, West Derby and Yew Tree.

Ashfield Allotments Open Day

On Saturday 16th August I went along to the open day at the Ashfield allotments in Knotty Ash.

The secretary there is Dan Barrington who is also Youth Officer of West Derby Labour Party. Dan and his team have done a fine job improving the allotment site and have won a lot of prizes in recent years.
