I have been selected by local Labour Party members to stand to become the next Member of Parliament for West Derby. It is a great honour to have this opportunity and I am spending my time meeting local residents, visiting community organisations and taking up local issues.
From the next General Election West Derby will consist of Croxteth, Knotty Ash, Norris Green, Tuebrook & Stoneycroft, West Derby and Yew Tree. The constituency includes Alder Hey and Broad Green hospitals and Croxteth Country Park.

Croxteth Park walled garden
On Saturday June 28th I had a tour of the wonderful walled garden in Croxteth Country Park. It is an extraordinary place at the heart of the park and I am keen to encourage more people of all ages to visit.
